Question: What is the purpose of Satan for humanity and how does he fulfil it?
This part of the eternal question for all thinking people!
People ask, “why would an Almighty God, want to create a world and people that would go astray as regards behaviour and eventually die without a good outcome”?
IMO, part of the answer is in the statement in John 3:16; “God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”!
The marvellous clue here is God’s Love for the people He has created; and makes sense of the oft stated declaration that “God is Love”; which is the love of “agape”!
This sort of love is that shown in a small way, by a good mother as soon as her child is born; but is only a very small example of the Love that God has for His Created people!
This picture projects onwards into the Sacrifice of God’s Son Jesus; who the Father was willing to Sacrifice for humans that would be willing to share an Eternal life with Him!
So; the question above is, what can Satan do to thwart God’s loving Sacrifice; as he has/had shown that he wants to prove God wrong, and attempt to make all humans his people and slaves!
This is when the sense of God’s actions and claims start to show with “seeking people”!
